30 November 2016 is the deadline to convert over to the new form private limited liability company using the transition procedure set out in Companies Act 2014.

From 1 December 2016 all companies will have to use their correct company name for example private limited company, designated activity company or unlimited company.

Up to date company details need to be inserted on company letterhead and on all websites and Companies Registration Office submissions.

If your business is a company and has changed its designation or company name you should update all of your documentation to reflect the new name.
