In December it is always a good idea to check your tax situation and find out if you have claimed all of your tax deductions and refunds.

In Ireland generally there is a 4 year time limit within which a person can make a claim for a tax refund.

Tax Refund Deadline

This means that for any tax refunds due for 2011 the entitlement to apply for a refund will cease if you have not submitted your claim to the Revenue Commissioners by 31 December 2015.

What should I do?

Act now and file your refund claim with the Revenue Commissioners so that you meet the 31 December 2015 deadline.

The Revenue Commissioners have issued a reminder.

If you have any question on taxation schedule an appointment with us.
