We love to assist the start up stage of businesses and work with clients who are completely new at running a business. We help you with deciding on the correct business structure and protecting your copyright, patents, trademark, branding and designs from the start when hiring employees and engaging consultants. We help you in putting your arrangements in writing.
We focus on assisting the SME sector in Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal, Roscommon, Mayo, Galway and Dublin.
We also provide assistance with legal services for other solicitors and professional advisers. We are happy to work alongside our colleagues in working on projects to meet client needs.
McLoughlin was a solicitor in law firms in Dublin for ten years prior to setting up this firm, the last three years as a corporate law and taxation partner.

How we provide legal services
We are available to meet clients at a mutually suitable venue and time. We can meet you outside of normal business hours as we understand that always having meetings during the working day may not suit you when you are running a business.
A consultation fee is charged for all meetings and consultations.
Michelle McLoughlin holds a number of qualifications.
Michelle is available for speaking engagements and she speaks on the topics of business and company law, data protection, direct marketing, intellectual property and taxation.

Michelle obtained a diploma in intellectual property and technology law in 2014 from the Law Society of Ireland. Michelle is a registered Trade Mark Agent.
Michelle qualified as a solicitor in 1999 having trained at the Law Society of Ireland.
Michelle achieved first place overall in exams receiving the Findlater Scholarship and she was jointly awarded the Guinness & Mahon prize.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies degree from University College Dublin.
Michelle qualified as a tax consultant in 2000, AITI, Chartered Tax Consultant.
Michelle achieved first place in her final exams receiving the PricewaterhouseCoopers prize, the Frank Brennan & Associates prize, the Butterworth’s Ireland Limited prize and the Vincent O’Leary prize.
Michelle is a regular lecturer and tutor for the Law Society of Ireland Professional Practice courses for trainee solicitors. She is also a lecturer and tutor on the Law Society of Ireland Masterclass programmes.
She is a lecturer and tutor in capital acquisition tax, business taxation, business law, value added tax and stamp duty and she is a tutor for employment law and drafting skills.
